The key services provided by the project team include the baseline assessment to establish the current status of the groundwater system and associated catchment characterization, feasibility study, and concept design of managed aquifer recharge (MAR) systems for the islands with a specific emphasis on flood water management, followed by the detail design of MAR systems, with all associated fieldwork (Geophysical surveys [Electrical Resistivity], Soil permeability field tests, soil profiles, steady state pumping tests) desk and social studies, data pre-post processing, analysis, interpretation, derive recommendations and reporting work.
