The project was to carry out the IEE for the project of Removal of
Teak Plantation at Iddapola Padawalayaya in Maduru Oya National Park of
Department of Wild Life.
It was expected to carry out the IEE and prepare a report strictly
in accordance with Terms of Reference given by the Wild Life Department of Sri
Lanka. The compressive IEE report should include justification of the proposed
project, salient features of the project, surrounding environment, key
environment impacts, proposed mitigations and monitoring program.
